Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TBX21 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TBX21 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher TBX21 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TBX21 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUAD are the cancer types where TBX21 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
