Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TBL1X RNA is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated TBL1X data layer compared with 6 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher TBL1X RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TBL1X expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and PAAD show a favorable association.
KIRC, PAAD, and HNSC are the cancer types where TBL1X RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
