Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TBCEL Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TBCEL data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher TBCEL Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TBCEL expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
BRCA, UCS, and UCEC are the cancer types where TBCEL Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
