Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TBC1D5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TBC1D5 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher TBC1D5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TBC1D5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KIRC, SARC, and LUSC are the cancer types where TBC1D5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
