Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TBC1D5 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TBC1D5 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher TBC1D5 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TBC1D5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and CCRCC show a favorable association.

GBM, LUAD, and LSCC are the cancer types where TBC1D5 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
