Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TBC1D22A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TBC1D22A data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher TBC1D22A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TBC1D22A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SCLC, KICH, and UCEC are the cancer types where TBC1D22A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
