Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TBC1D21 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TBC1D21 data layer compared with 14 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher TBC1D21 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TBC1D21 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
COAD, ESCA, and SKCM are the cancer types where TBC1D21 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
