Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TBC1D17 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TBC1D17 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher TBC1D17 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TBC1D17 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
BLCA and SKCM are the cancer types where TBC1D17 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
