Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TBC1D17 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TBC1D17 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), where higher TBC1D17 mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TBC1D17 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC and HNSC show a favorable association.

PDAC, HNSC, and GBM are the cancer types where TBC1D17 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
