Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TBC1D12 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TBC1D12 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher TBC1D12 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TBC1D12 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and GBM show a favorable association.

CCRCC, GBM, and PDAC are the cancer types where TBC1D12 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
