Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TAZ Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TAZ data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher TAZ Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TAZ expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

ACC, PRAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where TAZ Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
