Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TASOR Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TASOR data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher TASOR Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TASOR expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC, LUAD, and LUSC are the cancer types where TASOR Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
