Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TAS2R7 RNA is linked to patient survival in 13 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated TAS2R7 data layer compared with 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher TAS2R7 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TAS2R7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

LUSC, KIRP, and UCS are the cancer types where TAS2R7 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
