Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TAS2R50 RNA is linked to patient survival in 17 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated TAS2R50 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher TAS2R50 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TAS2R50 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as THYM and SCLC show a favorable association.

ACC, COAD, and STAD are the cancer types where TAS2R50 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
