Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TAS2R43 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TAS2R43 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in testicular germ cell tumors (TGCT), where higher TAS2R43 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TAS2R43 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

TGCT and LUAD are the cancer types where TAS2R43 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
