TAS2R38

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, TAS2R38 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,237 significant associations in total. SKCM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TAS2R38-associated genes across cancer lineages are PHF5A, TRMU, and DHODH. Each is linked with TAS2R38 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TAS2R38-to-partner and partner-to-TAS2R38 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, PHF5A grouped by TAS2R38-low versus TAS2R38-high in UCEC.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (TAS2R38→partner) and Y-score (partner→TAS2R38) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
