TAS2R16

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNACell-linePairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA cell cohorts, TAS2R16 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 34 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TAS2R16-associated genes across cancer lineages are FHL5, ODF1, and GABRA6. Each is linked with TAS2R16 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TAS2R16-to-partner and partner-to-TAS2R16 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, FHL5 grouped by TAS2R16-low versus TAS2R16-high in SKIN.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (TAS2R16→partner) and Y-score (partner→TAS2R16) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
