Across TCGA patient cohorts, TARS2 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 15,818 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TARS2-associated genes across cancer lineages are FEZ1, PRUNE1, and EHD4. Each is linked with TARS2 in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TARS2-to-partner and partner-to-TARS2 results are reported.
