Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TARBP2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TARBP2 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher TARBP2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TARBP2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, BLCA, and KICH are the cancer types where TARBP2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
