Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TAOK3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TAOK3 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher TAOK3 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TAOK3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.

LIHC, SKCM, and KICH are the cancer types where TAOK3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
