Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TAOK1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TAOK1 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 11 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher TAOK1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TAOK1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

CCRCC, LUAD, and GBM are the cancer types where TAOK1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
