Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TANGO6 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TANGO6 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher TANGO6 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TANGO6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

LSCC, CCRCC, and COAD are the cancer types where TANGO6 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
