Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TAGLN2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TAGLN2 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher TAGLN2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TAGLN2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.

LSCC, CCRCC, and GBM are the cancer types where TAGLN2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
