Across TCGA patient cohorts, TAFA5 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 5,548 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TAFA5-associated genes across cancer lineages are KCNH5, GABRB2, and KCTD15. Each is linked with TAFA5 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TAFA5-to-partner and partner-to-TAFA5 results are reported.
