Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TAFA2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TAFA2 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher TAFA2 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TAFA2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
UCEC, PAAD, and ESCA are the cancer types where TAFA2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
