Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TAF6L RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated TAF6L data layer compared with 3 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher TAF6L RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TAF6L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC and HNSC show a favorable association.
ACC, SCLC, and HNSC are the cancer types where TAF6L RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
