Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TAF6L Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TAF6L data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher TAF6L Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TAF6L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and UCEC show a favorable association.
BLCA, LUAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where TAF6L Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
