Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TAF6L mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TAF6L data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher TAF6L mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TAF6L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and COAD show a favorable association.

CCRCC, COAD, and LUAD are the cancer types where TAF6L mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
