Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TAF4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TAF4 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher TAF4 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TAF4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC and LGG are the cancer types where TAF4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
