Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TAF11 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TAF11 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher TAF11 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TAF11 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM and MESO are the cancer types where TAF11 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
