Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TADA2B RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 13 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of TADA2B’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where TADA2B RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types TADA2B is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as COAD and THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
COAD, THCA, and READ are the cancer types where TADA2B tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
