Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TACSTD2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TACSTD2 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in testicular germ cell tumors (TGCT), where higher TACSTD2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TACSTD2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
TGCT and ACC are the cancer types where TACSTD2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
