Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TACC1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TACC1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher TACC1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TACC1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
ESCA, LGG, and COAD are the cancer types where TACC1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
