Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TAB2-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 13 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated TAB2-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine carcinosarcoma (UCS), where higher TAB2-AS1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TAB2-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRP and HNSC show a favorable association.

UCS, BRCA, and KIRP are the cancer types where TAB2-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
