Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TAB1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TAB1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher TAB1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TAB1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KIRC, LUSC, and OV are the cancer types where TAB1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
