Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TAAR8 RNA is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated TAAR8 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher TAAR8 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TAAR8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC and KIRP show a favorable association.

COAD, UCEC, and KICH are the cancer types where TAAR8 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
