Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SYTL4 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SYTL4 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher SYTL4 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SYTL4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD show a favorable association.

LSCC, CCRCC, and COAD are the cancer types where SYTL4 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
