Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SYTL1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SYTL1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher SYTL1 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SYTL1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and HNSC show a favorable association.

UCEC, PDAC, and HNSC are the cancer types where SYTL1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
