Across TCGA patient cohorts, SYT5 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 24 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SYT5-associated genes across cancer lineages are PAI-1, EGFR_pY1068, and eIF4E. Each is linked with SYT5 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SYT5-to-partner and partner-to-SYT5 results are reported.
