Across TCGA patient cohorts, SYT1 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 2,437 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SYT1-associated genes across cancer lineages are PGAM1, CENPM, and OIP5. Each is linked with SYT1 in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SYT1-to-partner and partner-to-SYT1 results are reported.
