Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SYPL2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SYPL2 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher SYPL2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SYPL2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, LAML, and UCEC are the cancer types where SYPL2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
