Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SYNJ2BP-COX16 RNA is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SYNJ2BP-COX16 data layer compared with 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher SYNJ2BP-COX16 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SYNJ2BP-COX16 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CHOL and KIRC show a favorable association.

ACC, MESO, and UCEC are the cancer types where SYNJ2BP-COX16 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
