Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SYNJ1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SYNJ1 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher SYNJ1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SYNJ1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
LUAD, UCEC, and SKCM are the cancer types where SYNJ1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
