Across TCGA patient cohorts, SYN1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 9,753 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SYN1-associated genes across cancer lineages are SNAP25, SYT4, and BEX1. Each is linked with SYN1 in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SYN1-to-partner and partner-to-SYN1 results are reported.
