Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SYCP2L RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SYCP2L data layer compared with 7 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher SYCP2L RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SYCP2L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ACC and SKCM show a favorable association.

UCEC, KICH, and ACC are the cancer types where SYCP2L RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
