Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SYCP2L Mutation is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SYCP2L data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where higher SYCP2L Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SYCP2L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.

THCA, UCEC, and STAD are the cancer types where SYCP2L Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
