Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SYCP1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SYCP1 data layer compared with 16 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher SYCP1 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SYCP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and HNSC show a favorable association.
UCEC, LIHC, and ESCA are the cancer types where SYCP1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
