Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SWI5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SWI5 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher SWI5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SWI5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
COAD, LUAD, and BLCA are the cancer types where SWI5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
