Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SVOPL Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SVOPL data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher SVOPL Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SVOPL expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
ESCA, PRAD, and COAD are the cancer types where SVOPL Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
