Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SVIL-AS1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SVIL-AS1 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher SVIL-AS1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SVIL-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

BLCA, STAD, and SKCM are the cancer types where SVIL-AS1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
